Throughout the remainder of this month, North Lanarkshire Council is encouraging local businesses to decorate their shop windows and service areas to celebrate the Euro 2020 and Tokyo Summer Olympics and Paralympics 2020 competitions.
These international events will take place across the summer months, after being postponed last year due to the Covid pandemic.
Small and medium businesses can plan, decorate and then send their entries to their local My Town social media channel. Each community board area in North Lanarkshire has its own Facebook page and Twitter account.

International bunting, national football strips and innovative ways to display the Olympic rings are just a few ideas, but the council is looking for as much creativity as possible.
Residents and visitors can also play their part by encouraging their favourite businesses to enter.
There is no requirement for businesses to get in touch beforehand and entries must be received by June 30, with the winners to be announced next month.
