Lanarkshire’s Tommy McGuire celebrates the success of his new single

Lanarkshire’s own Tommy McGuire has released his latest single, ‘Everything In Between’.

The aspiring singer-songwriter’s second single follows on from the release of his debut single ‘Smile’ last October.

Known around Motherwell for performing in pubs and at open mic nights, Tommy is now trying to build an audience of his own and become the best artist he can.

Having played in bands in the past, Tommy has spent most of the last year perfecting his own song writing and trying to chase his dream of being a professional artist.

And his latest single is all about that dream – and always pushing forward.

The 25-year-old told Lanarkshire Live: “No matter what or where you come from, you’re capable of anything in this world you put your mind to.

“I know for a fact we all have dreams and it’s our own job to fulfil them

“Whether it’s an artist, a DJ, a doctor, a restauranteur, footballer, athlete, or a fighter, it’s worth fighting for, that’s what this song is all about.

“Mine has always been to be a singer/songwriter and a musician, to get that number one single and to sell-out headline shows.

“When I was a bit younger I tried the X factor, Tried the Voice, it never goes to plan, and really, it’s not what I’m after.

“This song peaked at number three on the singer-songwriter charts and above me was Paul Weller and Nile Rodgers, which I find just mental.

“When I look at stuff like that and remember I have done this all myself I am really proud of it.”

You can find Tommy McGuire on all major streaming services and can buy the new song for 79 pence on Apple Music.
