Love Island Scots star quits life of fame to return to day job after 2021 series

Love Island Scot Harry Young has returned to his day job as a car salesman after stepping away from the limelight.

The 24-year-old, who entered the ITV2 dating show’s Casa Amor, is a product consultant at at Arnold Clark in Motherwell.

Sharing a snap of his Arnold Clark business card, the salesman joked: “So back to the grind.

“Swipe up to shop our stock or DM for appointment.”

Harry, who has been single for around a year and a half, said that he applied for the show due to being off the dating scene due to the pandemic.

It wasn’t quite a ‘summer of love’ for Harry after he failed to turn heads in Casa Amor and was dumped during a brutal recoupling.

Harry took to Instagram to tell followers he was “Back to the real graft tomorrow”.

He added: “Been a surreal Summer, which finished with a class weekend in London”.

In the picture, Harry posed with Geordie boy Brad McClelland and fellow Scots contestant Dale Mehmet.

It comes as fans are convinced that the Motherwell salesman has his eye on another of this year’s contestants.

Harry posted a picture posed with islander Liberty Poole and looked super cute during her 22nd birthday celebrations.

It comes as Liberty’s ex Jake Cornish skipped both the Love Island reunion and Liberty’s birthday bash after feeling unwell.

The pair were the villa’s longest-running couple before their relationship bluntly ended due to Liberty doubting whether Jake loved her for who she was.
