A loving Lanarkshire wife and mum has been thanked by her daughter for everything she has done for her family.
Isabel Ferrie, from Muirhouse in Motherwell, opted to give up her work as a care worker in order to care for her husband Edward who suffers from Parkinson’s.
Daughter Lorraine decided to enter Isabel for our weekly Say it with Flowers competition to thank her for always putting her family first.

“Mum worked at Netherton Care Home and loved it there. She has always been a very caring person.
“She is always the one asking everyone how they are and helping out when she can.
“Mum truly is an inspirational woman who I look up too.
“She deserves the flowers to show how much she means to us all.”
Isabel and Edward have three daughters – Lorraine, Leeanne and Jackie – as well as doting on her many grandchildren.
We were delighted to help Lorraine and surprised Isabel at her home in Muirhouse with a beautiful bouquet of flowers thanks to our friends at Pixie’s Petals in Newmains.
Lorraine added: “She just love spending time with her grandkids.
“We are always up at the house and mum can’t do enough for us. She’s just a very special lady.”
