Motherwell and Clyde have both been given major incentives to overcome Scottish fourth round opponents.
Clyde pulled out the plum tie, and should they negotiate their way past St Johnstone in a fortnight, they will earn the right to play either Rangers, Cove Rangers or Celtic in their quarter-final.
Should Motherwell beat Greenock Morton in the fourth round, they will play either Stranraer, Queen of the South or Hibs on April 24.
It’s certainly an exciting couple of weeks in store for clubs as they battle to make their way to the showpiece final at Hampden on May 22.
The full quarter-final draw was:
Rangers/Cove Rangers/Celtic v St Johnstone or Clyde;
Kilmarnock or Montrose v St Mirren or Inverness CT;
Aberdeen or Livingston v Forfar or Dundee United;
Stranraer/Queen of the South/Hibs v Motherwell or Greenock Morton.
Ties are to be played on the weekend of April 24.
