A popular TV book show will air this weekend, and the first episode was filmed in a famous Lanarkshire venue.
‘The Big Scottish Book Club’, hosted by writer Damian Barr – who grew up in Newarthill – will return this Sunday for a brand new series.
The first of eight episodes comes from Motherwell Concert Hall with guests Louise Welsh who discusses The Second Cut , the much anticipated follow up to her bestselling 2002 thriller The Cutting Room.
