A YOUNG Scots mum has died suddenly with her loved ones saying her passing’s left a “hole in the hearts” of those closest to her.

Natalie Cullen, 23, passed away last week and her friends and family have been left heartbroken.

A fundraiser has been launched to raise money for Natalie’s funeral

The mum-of-one, from Motherwell, has left behind her young daughter Kyla.

She died suddenly and it is understood there are no suspicious circumstances.

Following Natalie’s death, tributes poured in online from her grieving family and friends – with some describing her as a “good friend” and an “amazing mum”.

Her loved ones have also told how her passing has left “a hole” in their hearts.

On Facebook, one person wrote: “Shocked gutted and raging with the world how can this happen to you and your poor girl. We had so many good times over the years what a lassie you were Natalie Cullen one of the good ones. Rest in peace beautiful soul.”

Another said: “Can’t believe I’m writing this. Heaven gained another angel. Natalie Cullen I love you so much and will miss you more than anything. You were such an amazing friend and you had a smile that lit the full room up. You were an amazing mum to Kyla and she will always remember how great her mum was. Rest in peace.”

A fundraiser has been set up to raise money to help with Natalie’s funeral costs.

The GoFundMe page has raised £2,445 from 115 thoughtful donors.

A message on the fundraising page read: “Close friends of the family looking to raise as much possible in order to support Natalie’s family with funeral costs to give her the send off that everyone would agree she deserves. Natalie was an amazing mum to Kyla, sister to Laura, Peter, Megan and daughter to Angela.

“Her unexpected passing at the young age of 23 has left a hole in the hearts of those closest to her, and as you could imagine, a stressful situation for costs and organisation surrounding the funeral. Anything you could spare towards this cause will be massively appreciated by those closest to Natalie who miss her so much and want to give her a special day.”
